  Training and Workshop
 
Training is one of the essential components of a successful Tuberculosis Control Programme. Training includes the orientation of new staff in basic training, refresher training and on-the-job training during the supervision or monitoring and review meetings. The basic training includes the training of trainers for regional and district level, medical officer training; programme management training for public health officer, microscopist and supervisor training. The regular DOTS orientation programme has been conducting at the treatment centers, district and regional level to the nursing staff, health educator, statistician, community volunteers, traditional healers, players, DOTS committee's members, school teachers and students, mothers group, female health community, volunteers and so on.
