PAL-SUPERVISION AND MONITORING

The supervision
and monitoring for PAL started and the health facilities are doing well.
The smoking cessation advice for respiratory and TB cases has been documenting.

PAL-FUTURE PLAN |
|

Nepal is waiting for Global Fund
round 7 support to expand PAL in a step wise manner in the country. There
is a plan to supply of Inhalers, nebulizers and oxygen concentrator at least
up to PHC centers. Also smoking quitting materials like flip chart for health
workers and booklet for patients will enhance the smoking cessation counseling
activities. For overall implementation of PAL, Sub health posts health personnel
also to be trained in future. |
